Feature

Spotlight

A single hero photo, animated. Four seconds. Built for the listing-card moment when a buyer scrolls past in two.

Spotlight is the listing cover.

A buyer scanning Zillow thumbnails spends a couple of seconds on each card. Most agents put a static hero photo there. Spotlight puts a four-second motion-on-still in the same frame — same image, subtle animation, branded outro. The buyer pauses.

Who it's for

Every listing, every time. Spotlight is the cheapest format Dunphy makes — one credit — and the most universal. There isn't a listing in the country that doesn't have a cover moment to fill.

What you get

  • 4-second clip with subtle motion applied to your hero photo
  • Branded outro with your capsule (name, phone, optional handle, optional logo)
  • Vertical-safe framing so it works for IG Story stickers and Reels covers too
  • Standalone shareable — drop it into your MLS upload, your listing-page hero, your IG profile pinned story

How it works

You upload your listing photos. Dunphy reads them, picks the hero, and animates it. The whole flow takes about thirty seconds end to end. The output is ready to drop into the listing card or share directly.

When to use Spotlight vs the other formats

  • Spotlight (4s, 1 credit) — listing card, MLS hero, IG story sticker, profile pinned post
  • Highlight Reel (8s, 2 credits) — IG Reels, TikTok, Facebook video posts
  • Cinematic Tour (20s, 4 credits) — listing-page embeds, buyer follow-up emails, Zillow walkthrough

Most listings deserve all three. Spotlight is the one you definitely don't skip.

FAQ

Can I pick which photo becomes the hero? Yes. Dunphy proposes the hero based on photo quality + framing, but you can override.

Does Spotlight loop? The clip itself is four seconds with a branded outro at the end. On surfaces that loop (IG Story, IG Reels profile loops), it'll just play again — no awkward black frame.

What aspect ratios are supported? 16:9 by default (best for listing cards). 9:16 vertical coming soon.

Where does Spotlight fit in the buyer journey? The listing-card moment specifically. See the listing-cover outcome for why this is the highest-leverage place in your marketing.
