Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 15 June 2026

You have the right to request deletion of your account, your content, and the personal data Typito, Inc. holds about you in connection with Dunphy. This page explains exactly how to make that request, what gets deleted, what may persist (and why), and how long it takes.

This page complements our Privacy Policy (Section 7, "Your rights"). The Privacy Policy is the canonical statement of your rights under applicable law; this page is the practical "how to" for exercising the right to deletion specifically.

1. What data we hold about you

Depending on how you've interacted with Dunphy, we may hold one or more of the following categories of personal data:

If you've signed up for the Early Access waitlist or subscribed to email content

  • The email address you provided
  • Your name (if collected)
  • Your phone number (if you optionally provided one)
  • The page you were on when you subscribed (for attribution)
  • Your subscription status (pending / confirmed / unsubscribed)

If you've signed up for the Dunphy product (post-general-availability)

  • Your account email and authentication identifiers (managed via Supabase Auth)
  • Your profile information (name, agent details)
  • Photos you've uploaded as listing source material
  • Videos generated by Dunphy from your inputs
  • Your project history (drafts, completed projects, generation logs)
  • Your credit balance and transaction history (for payments and refunds)

Automatically collected (both contexts)

  • Server logs (IP address, request metadata, timestamps — retained 30 days on rolling basis)
  • Backup snapshots of our database (retained up to 90 days)

2. How to request deletion

Send an email to dunphy@typito.ai with:

  • Subject line: Data deletion request
  • The email address associated with your account, subscription, or Early Access request (so we can identify the right records to delete)
  • (Optional) A note about which data specifically you want deleted (full account vs. just email subscription, for example) — we default to full deletion of all personal data unless you specify otherwise

You can also request deletion in writing at the postal address listed in our Privacy Policy. Email is faster.

3. What gets deleted

When you make a full deletion request, we delete:

  • Your account record and authentication identifiers
  • Your profile information
  • All photos you've uploaded
  • All videos generated for you (drafts and completed)
  • Your project history and generation logs
  • Your email subscription records
  • Your Early Access request, if any

We acknowledge the request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the acknowledgment.

4. What may persist (and why)

Some data may remain after the deletion is processed:

CategoryWhy it persistsHow long
Backup snapshotsWe can't surgically remove individual records from backups without restoring + re-snapshottingUntil the backup expires (up to 90 days)
Transaction recordsTax and financial-record-keeping obligationsAs required by applicable law (typically 7 years for tax records)
Anonymized aggregate analyticsOnce a record is fully anonymized (no longer identifies you), it falls outside data-protection regimesIndefinitely
Audit logsSecurity incident detection and compliance; identifying personal data is redacted1 year
Communications about your deletion requestWe keep a record that the request was made and fulfilled, in case of dispute3 years

If you have a specific concern about any of the above (for example, you need transaction records deleted for a non-tax reason), tell us in your deletion request and we'll do our best to accommodate within what applicable law allows.

5. Timeline

StepWhen
You email dunphy@typito.ai with your requestDay 0
We acknowledgeWithin 5 business days
We complete deletion of identifiable recordsWithin 30 days of acknowledgment

If your request is for an EEA/UK resident under GDPR or for a California resident under CCPA, we honor the timelines required by those laws (typically also 30 days; we err on the shorter side).

6. Other rights you may want to exercise

If what you actually want isn't deletion, the Privacy Policy lists your other rights, including:

  • Access — receive a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format you can take elsewhere
  • Restriction or objection — limit certain processing without full deletion
  • Withdrawal of consent — for processing where consent is the legal basis

Use the same email address (dunphy@typito.ai) for any of these.

7. Contact

  • Email: dunphy@typito.ai
  • Postal: Typito, Inc., Claymont, Delaware, USA (full registered-agent address available on request)

We respond to every request, even if our answer is "we don't hold data matching what you've described." If we haven't responded within 30 days, please email us again — the original may have been missed.
